CM1 SaaS Stats and Trends - July 2016

Fri Aug 5, 2016

This post is the first in a series where we will publish anonymous and aggregate metrics for our SaaS service.   Our goal is to provide transparent quality of service metrics, as well as to provide our Marketing customers with general data that they can then use to make tactical decisions.  We hope that you find it useful.

Total Requests

Total requests shows all web requests across the service.  In July our SaaS hosted customers serviced a respectable 48.13 M requests.  On our peak day we serviced 2.2 million requests.

Performance

A good performance KPI for a web host is failed or aborted requests for Pages or Assets.  In July, 99.96% of Page and Asset requests were successfully delivered to our customers website visitors across all channels (Desktop, Mobile, etc). This is a number that we watch to ensure that the quality of service of our customer websites is as close to 100% as we can make it.

Device Profiles

The device profiles that we've seen in July show that Desktop is still in the lead with 62% of traffic, while Mobile devices accounted for roughly 24% of traffic.

Operating Systems

The Operating System stats help us to sub segment the Device platforms, indicating that Windows users represented 53% of all traffic.  Apple iOS devices were the clear leader among Mobile visitors at 18.08%.
