On mobile devices, video has seen over 300% growth year over year, because of how easy it is to consume regardless of platform. Marketers have recognized the opportunities that come with more video content, and 76% cite it as a priority for their website, more than Twitter, Facebook, or blogging integration. 

Video drives more organic traffic, and is two or three times more likely to attract visitors to your pages than other types of content. To paraphrase Brightcove's Shiri Friedman: "have you ever seen a white paper go viral?"
