Tapping Percussion’s insights into the use of The Percussion Approach is one way to shorten your Time to Success. Percussion Education Services offers a range of core and advanced training, covering the needs of developers, business users and administrators. All Percussion training courses are led by a professional trainer - and not a DVD - with many years experience in helping organizations drive online results.
Course size is limited to ten attendees, to ensure that everyone has access to individual help from the course trainer. Every student will be provided with a set of manuals including exercise examples and a collection of data files to be used during the practical hands-on sessions.
Class location includes our US or European offices (Public classes) or at a client site (Private classes). All course materials are written in English.

Developer Courses
Developer's Training
Laying a foundation for new CM System developers, this interactive lab based course provides an extensive examination of CM System and provides participants with an understanding of our core product. During this three day course, each participant will gain experience with CM System through hands-on labs and exercises. Each day will include individual and group activities to simulate collaborative environments and teamwork. Participants will model and design real sites from the real world, discuss best practices, development roadmaps, and tools for success.

Advanced Developer's Workshop
Our Advanced Developer's Workshop course expands upon the CM System Developer's Training Course to allow for advanced configuration and customization needs of the client's specific CM System content management solution. This custom offering is based on a syllabus defined by the client. Each topic is presented to assure a solid understanding of applicable concepts and skills required by the client developer to implement complex content management solutions.

New Features of CM System 7.0
This course provides you with the fundamentals necessary to prepare a CM System upgrade and to incorporate new features available within the developer environment. The course educates you on what’s now available in version 7.0 and provides guidance on how to apply these upgrades into your existing environment. This includes practical hands-on exercises to understand the key developer experience improvements to reduce configuration time. This course is designed for developers with experience with CM System version 6.7 or higher.

Administrator Courses
CM System Administration
The Administration course combines lectures and demonstrations with ample activities to enable the attendee to experience the activities associated with administering a CM System installation. CM System Administration course provides a comprehensive examination of most of the non development aspects of setting up, maintaining, and upgrading a CM System server.

Business Specialist Courses
Key Concepts
This course provides Business Managers, End Users and Executives with an overview of Content Management and CM System. This course demonstrates the processes needed to enter and work with Content in CM System. It discusses the Search component, using Preview and Active Assembly to review outputs, the use of Workflow, various copy options, and how to view content metadata. This course does not include hands on activities, but is intended as an introduction to CM System for managers and Content Contributors.

Content Contributor Courses
End User Training
End User Training is a custom course designed to prepare CM System users to use the content management system. A Percussion Education Consultant begins by creating a customized training manual based on the Content Types (typically between 4 to 6 in detail), business logic and other unique features of your system. The consultant then presents users with a training program designed to speed user adoption by Content Contributors.

Corporate Trainer Course
Train the Trainer Workshop
The Train the Trainer workshop is geared toward corporate instructors, and provides a comprehensive examination of content contribution using CM System by developing product knowledge and an understanding of the client's specific implementation. This week-long workshop begins with instruction on how to use CM System as a Content Contributor in order to provide the necessary product knowledge to successfully teach others how to use the system. Fully customized courseware and presentation materials are developed with the client instruction team to kick start internal corporate training events.
