Percussion Software and NSPCC Scoop Two Top Awards for Best Intranet

London, UK - 7 December 2005 - Percussion Software's work in helping to modernise and relaunch the NSPCC's Intranet site has been awarded not just one prestigious award but two! The Intranet site was awarded "Best Intranet" at this year's Online Information Awards and Runner Up at the Information Management Awards. The intranet upgrade has fundamentally changed the way the Society delivers its online information and improved the way in which the employees go about their day to day jobs in helping to prevent the abuse of children.

Joseph Wykes, managing director, European operations, Percussion Software: "We are delighted to be recognized for our work with the NSPCC which is a classic example of how all companies and not just charities can benefit from working with Percussion. Fast access to accurate information is vital to the day to day working of all companies. Additionally organisations can also realise great cost savings as demonstrated by the work we have undertaken with the NSPCC."

The intranet upgrade was the largest and most complex IT projects undertaken by the NSPCC to date. It replaced the entire manually edited and managed 6,000 page intranet in a single week with a content managed solution provided by Percussion's Rhythmyx ECM software solution with greatly enhanced usability and accessibility for end users, and authoring and workflow management for content providers.

Gary Smith, IS Project Office Manager, NSPCC: "The whole team is delighted to pick up these two awards as it's a reflection of the strong partnership and progress that the NSPCC has made since working with Percussion."
