Key Management Appointments Announced at Percussion Software as Momentum of Success Continues
London - 3 May 2005 - Percussion Software has announced three key additions to its management team with the appointment of Peter Atkinson as Regional Sales Director Europe, Ian Annis as Professional Services Director and the promotion of Mark Scholfield to Director of Technical Support. The appointments further underline the success being enjoyed by the company, which recently added mobile software licensing company Symbian, magic circle law firm DLA Piper Rudnick and The British Library to its roster of industry-leading clients.
A key addition to the sales team, Peter Atkinson joins Percussion at a pivotal time in the Company’s growth. As industry analysts predict the ongoing growth of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) sector in 2005, Percussion continues to underline the success of its Rhythmyx ECM solution with a series of business wins across the mid-tier sector.
Previously Public Sector Sales Director and Head of Channel Sales at Tridion UK Ltd, Atkinson brings with him a strong track record in leading teams within IT product and services organisations, having also held posts at IBM UK Ltd, SSA Softwright Ltd, Mediasurface Ltd.
Ian Annis is a senior IT Professional with over 13 years experience in senior management, business development and consultancy roles for companies including Sybase (UK) Ltd and GEC/Marconi Group. Annis has a wealth of experience in building and leading successful service delivery teams with proven track records in dealing with high profile clients.
Scholfield brings eighteen years experience in the technical support field to his role as key customer advocate on the management team. Since joining Percussion in 1997 following posts at NatWest Bank, BUPA, BAT, Banque Paribas and the London Stock Exchange, he has made the Company’s technical support function his own, building and managing a highly skilled team that focuses on ensuring customers’ success across the Company’s multiple product lines.
