Series generates conversation around internet marketing and Web Content Management best practices
11 February 2010

London, United Kingdom – Percussion Software, providers of Web Content Management (WCM) software that helps businesses increase traffic, drive conversion, and improve web presence, today announced that their Customer Webinar Series would be expanded to include live webcast schedules specifically for attendees in the UK.

The Percussion Customer Webinar Series, announced in December 2009, provides a platform upon which best practices in internet marketing and web content management can be shared, not only by Percussion, but amongst users of the software as well. Topics for the one-hour events, free for Percussion customers, have included search engine optimization (SEO) and social media, as well as technical demonstrations on how to achieve specific results using Percussion’s web content management system and Solutions.

“The first few events in the series have been hugely successful – we’ve gotten really great feedback and participation from customers,” said Dana Miller, Customer Relationship Manager at Percussion, who spearheaded the project. “Not only is it great to see customers signing up to attend, asking insightful questions, and sharing their successes and concerns with us, it’s been wonderful to see them carry on those conversations on our user forums when we post recordings of the live events.”

“The Percussion Webinars have been great,” said Brenda Kritsch, Operations Specialist, Web and Telecommunications at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. “The speakers have shared valuable best practices about specific topics and about the CM System generally. And it’s all delivered in an environment that fosters discussion. It’s an excellent resource.”

“I’m thrilled that we’re giving our United Kingdom customers more convenient access to these webinars. While all Percussion users have had access to the recordings on our user forums, the addition of UK-specific times for live Webinars will drive more value to our clients,” added Theresa Daley, Regional Manager of Field Services for the UK and EMEA.

The first webinar in the Series to have a dedicated live webcast for United Kingdom customers will be “Content Migration and the Percussion CM System,” on Thursday, March 11.

Organizations in the United Kingdom using Percussion to power their websites include Allen & Overy, UK Trade & Investment, The British Library, Shire Pharmaceuticals, The Book People, Visit London, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), and the Institute of Physics.
