Percussion Continues Transition to Partner Channel
Places Greater Focus on EU Partners to sell The Percussion Approach
07 January 2009
London, UK and Woburn, MA

Percussion Software, a provider of a Web Content Management (WCM) system, solutions and services for managing, analyzing and improving online business results announced today the continuation of a strategy to expand the number of European Union Percussion Partners.

“Since arriving in mid-2008, we have been exploring various ways to further penetrate the EU, and specifically into key verticals,” stated Mike Robichaud, CEO of Percussion. “Partners have long been a cornerstone of Percussion’s presence in the EU, creating sales opportunities and providing a broad range of services. This announcement represents a sharpening of our commitment to the EU and Partner success, continues to shift our sales strategy toward the line of business manager, and provides our business with scale.”

The expansion of Percussion’s Partner recruitment efforts will help Percussion locate and close more new deals.  “This effort will also increase the number of digital agencies from which both current customers and new customers can select,” commented Peter Webster, SVP, Field Services and the senior member of Percussion’s management team responsible for the EU.  “We will continue to sell directly into the EU, but in short order we seek to transition a vast majority of our selling effort to Partners.”

Percussion continues to provide Technical Services and Professional Services from its London office.  Consistent with a customer announcement in October 2008, Application Support and improved online customer support will increase the resources which customers can draw upon to help drive results.
