Outside Sales Representative – Content Management
Location: Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington, D.C.Percussion Software is a leading provider of content management software, including Rhythmyx web content management system. With the intensifying demands on businesses to lower costs and increase productivity, as well as the growing necessity to have an Internet presence, businesses need simple, yet comprehensive technologies and associated services that ensure success. We are aggressively growing, and are seeking hard working, intelligent, ambitious candidates to fill our direct sales roles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, providing them with excellent service and support, and continually grow the business within the account
- Liaison between the Operations Group, Sales Group and the clients.
- Assure that Percussion Software and the client’s expectations are exceeded on a daily basis.
- Provide executive-level decision-making.
- Prepare proposals and quotes / pricing for clients.
- Provide status reports to clients on a regular basis.
- Responsible for preparing sales forecasts, and recommendations to enhance account revenue potential.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in developing and managing clients in multiple industries.
- Prior experience selling to “C level” executives.
- Experience building and running a regional sales territory.
- Independent thinker, with good judgment skills.
- Exceptional listening and comprehension skills.
- Proven track record in problem solving.
- Excellent presentation skills, business writing skills and oral communication skills.
- Good follow-up skills.
- Must be capable of balancing general prospecting requirements, fulfilling customer needs and meeting company expectation and goals.
Any Content or Document management experience considered a major plus.
