Percussion Software is a leading provider of Web Content Management software.  Our aggressive growth has resulted in major customers and server licenses worldwide.   Percussion is looking for a Principal Engineer to join its exceptional Development Team. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and support Rhythmyx, a J2EE based web content management system.
• Lead projects from requirements through delivery, with project teams between 1 and 5 engineers.
• Create functional specifications from high-level customer and marketing requirements.
• Create detailed technical designs based on functional specs.
• Create, communicate, track and organize project plans.
• Understand system-wide ramifications of design and implementation decisions.

Qualifications:

• 8+ Years of Object Oriented Software Development

• + Years of Java Development Experience
• Web application development experience (HTML, JavaScript, Servlets/JSP)

• Good knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL (JDBC)A

• At least 2 years experience with 2 of the following technologies:
  • J2EE
  • JBoss
  • Spring
  • Hibernate
  • Eclipse (SWT/RCP)
  • AJAX/Javascript
  • Web Services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in performance tuning a plus!
